Track Series

Felt puts a great deal of effort toward supporting competitive track racers trying to achieve their dreams. Whether it’s sprint events or distance events, there’s no room for error on the velodrome, and developing bikes for World Champions like Sarah Hammer and Elite track teams like Project London keeps Felt on the cutting edge of technology. In track racing, it’s one bike, one gear—and the results don’t lie.
Like the DA time trial/triathlon bike, the TK1 uses Felt’s UHC Ultimate+Nano carbon fiber, unsurpassed for its ability to make lightweight, stiff, ride-tuned performance bikes. Just as with the DA, the TK1 was engineered using powerful, cutting-edge CFD software and extensive aerodynamic analysis. Once the materials were chosen, Felt engineers applied proven geometry to give the bike precise, track-specific handling characteristics.

For 2012, Felt has developed two distinct versions of the TK1—the TK1 Sprint and the TK1 Endurance. The TK1 Sprint retains the same aerodynamic shape and carbon fiber layup that has delivered Felt athletes to national and world titles. The TK1 Sprint will include an all-new standard fork that delivers unparalleled rigidity and precision.

The TK1 Endurance also maintains the wind-slicing shape of the previous TK1, but trims nearly 300g in weight. Up front, the groundbreaking Bayonet™ Steering System has been continually refined, and the TK1 Endurance comes equipped with the latest Bayonet 2 Track fork/stem/handlebar combination.

All of Felt’s track bikes, including the TK2 and TK3, have developed a loyal following among track racers from beginner to pro. The TK2 and TK3 use the same aerodynamic know-how of the pro-level bikes and are engineered with lightweight, responsive aluminum frame tubing.

All Felt track bikes feature quality touches such as CNC-machined dropouts and internally-machined bottom bracket shells. While the TK1 is available only as a frameset, the TK2 and TK3 come as complete bikes with parts chosen to optimize their track-racing abilities.

Find out for yourself why Felt track bikes have developed such a hardcore following among such a wide variety of racers. Whether you’re a World Champion or a Wednesday night champion, Felt offers the fastest way to get around the track.

The custom-butted Superlite 7005 aluminum tubing in the TK2’s frame is aggressively shaped for maximum pedaling efficiency and aerodynamics. A track-specific carbon fiber fork delivers a crisp, precise feel for confident handling on even the steepest banked turns. Carefully selected components, including the unique 3T Sphinx LTD endurance handlebar, SRAM TruVativ Omnium track crank, carbon fiber seatpost and Felt TKR-2 wheels, offer every advantage on the ’drome.

This track-specific Superlite aluminum frame is butted and shaped to withstand the rigors of track racing. Lightning-quick acceleration and maximum torsional stiffness make it competition-ready. Deep-section TKR-4 wheels and sturdy, lightweight components give you all you need in the race against the clock.

Who says a modern, high-performance track bike can’t have a little style? The TK4130 pays homage to classic track bikes with a gorgeous frame made with, you guessed it, 4130 cromoly tubing. With its faux wooden rims, double crown fork, fluted cranks with a skip-tooth chainring, and classic leather saddle with chrome rivets, the TK4130 is a rare bike that can be raced on the velodrome with style.

Frame Kit TK1 Endurance

The choice of the World's fastest track athletes, the TK1 frameset has been ridden to multiple U.S. and world records. For 2012, the TK1 Endurance has been upgraded with an all new layup that makes the frame nearly 400g lighter than the 2011 model while maintaining the same aerodynamic profile. An updated Bayonet 2 fork features Felt UHC Ultimate+Nano carbon fiber and is engineered to provide optimal leading edge aerodynamics while generating supreme power transfer and precision handling.

Frame Kit TK1 Sprint

Ridden to world records and U.S. national records, the Felt TK1 is a legendary performer in the track-racing world. The wind-tunnel developed and tested frame is the choice of for World Champion Sarah Hammer and Project London's Sprint Team among others. The new 2012 TK1 Sprint utilizes Felt's rigid UHC Advanced Aero Modular carbon fiber frameset that offers a super-strong and stiff platform for unmatched responsiveness and pedaling efficiency.
