Andi Böcherer next win – Heidelbergman

Thursday, August 04, 2011
After a few weeks injury lay-off Andi Böcherer is back to race.
And not only back – he showed another time that he is one of the fastest Tri Pros of the year.
At the Heidelbergman race in Germany Andi took the lead from the beginning with a strong swim split, in the chasing group set former IM Champion Timo Bracht – that two guys fought for the victory.
Andi tried to hold a 40 sec gap to Timo on his DA and on the hilly course it was a hard day for the Pros. After the bike split both of them had even the same time. The 10 K run showed the same leader at the finish: Andi is back - with a new race record of 1:56:34.

Next race: IM Wiesbaden – this is the qualifying race for Hawaii.
