Double hit at the final of the German National Series: Litscher wins Eliminator Sprint and U23

Thomas Litscher. At the final of the German National Series in Bad Salzdetfurth, Litscher outclassed his rivals and won both, the Eliminator Sprint and the following U23 race. In the women’s race, Blaza Klemencic claimed another podium and Adelheid Morath came in in 8th position.
Litscher rules the Eliminator
In all final stages, Litscher did not leave a doubt, who will be the fastest guy on the track in Bad Salzdetfurth. In all of his heats, he had the best start and was the first guy after the first turn and nobody was able to close the gap. With his win in the final race, he also won the overall ranking of the Series.
Lonely ride to victory in the U23 race
The FELT ÖTZTAL X-BIONIC rider also demonstrated his exceptional standing in the U23 category race and outclassed his rivals. In the first round, Litscher broke away and nobody could follow. In 1:24:03 and with 2:30 minutes ahead, he pushed Markus Schulze-Lünzum into second position. Julian Schelb finished 3rd, 2:55 minutes behind Litscher, who slowed down in the last lap and enjoyed the cheering crowd at the track. Satisfaction for Litscher after his 3rd rank in Heubach: “I wanted to finish off with a win to confirm my world championship form. It was a great day to show the rainbow jersey once again and of course ride my FELT world championship bike with the special rainbow design.”, said the young Swiss rider to the press.
Klemencic on the podium, Morath in 8th position
In the women’s race. Blaza Klemencic secured another podium for the FELT ÖTZTAL X-BIONIC Team. Adelheid Morath made it to the Top 10 and gained important points for the UCi ranking. In 1:21.21,0, Klemencic was 51 seconds behind winner Kalentieva.
