Trebon, Mani Score Podiums at Cincy3

Felt-sponsored cyclocross racers
Ryan Trebon and
Caroline Mani collected major UCI points at the
Cincy3 Cyclocross Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio, over the weekend. Both scored
multiple podiums, and
Trebon won the second of three races in the Cincinnati area on his
Felt F1X cyclocross bike.
The Cincy3 event featured three straight UCI races, two C2 events and a C1. Trebon, the
No. 1 ranked U.S. cyclocross racer, battled a strong group of American rivals, and Belgian Ben Berden at each of the races. He opened the weekend finishing third on a hilly, technical course with some mud sections at Devou Park in Covington, Kentucky.
The following day Trebon scored the victory at Sunset Park in Middletown, Ohio, beating former U.S. champion Tim Johnson and Jeremy Powers, who finished second and third.
“I’ve never won this race,” Trebon told Cyclingnews after his victory. “I felt like I was riding well today, the bikes were good and everything seemed to be working.”
Trebon closed out the weekend with a third straight podium appearance, finishing second in Sunday’s C1-ranked Harbin Park International.
Meanwhile, Mani, who is also racing on the
Felt F1X, scored three straight top-five finishes too. She finished fourth, second and third. Mani, the French national champion, is currently residing and racing in the U.S.
