Podium ranks for Blaza Klemencic and Karl Markt in Eisenberg - Strong performances of Carolin Schiff and the couple Scheiderbauer

At the 8th International Eisenberger Weinidylle Trophy 2010, a race of the UCI category C2, the two athletes of the FELT ÖTZTAL X-BIONIC Worldcup Team ranked second and third. The Slovenian Blaza Klemencic has once again shown that she belongs to the favourites this season. At the finish she was only 46 seconds behind Anna Szafraniec from Poland. The Slovakian Janka Stevkova was ranked third.

Team-mate Karl Markt (AUT) also convinced at winter temperatures in Eisenberg. After problems at the start and in the first round Markt performed a fantastic race. The athlete from Ötztal caught up place by place and was only defeated by his compatriot Christoph Soukop and the young Czech Jiri Novak. Markt is optimistic about the upcoming race: "I am very satisfied with my preparation and my recent shape. Next week in Münsingen and the the first World Cups are important."
 
Strong debut from Carolin Schiff
Carolin Schiff from the FELT ÖTZTAL X-BIONIC Worldcup Team started on Sunday at the spring classic "Hölle des Nordens" in Bad Bevensen. The course was extremely difficult to ride and after a few kilometers there was a lead group with Carolin Schiff. In the exciting final Schiff was able to reach the third place on the podium. "The form is good, I am very satisfied with my first race", said Schiff after the race.
 
Top results for Anna and Jörg Scheiderbauer at Cross Duathlon
At the 17th Pfaffenweiler Cross Duathlon close to Freiburg, Anna and Jörg Scheiderbauer offered a fantastic performance. Anna won the overall competition with more than two minutes ahead of the other athletes. Her husband Jörg Scheiderbauer finished second behind the world-class triathlete Andi Böcherer. "Unfortunately the bike course was not long enough to beat Böcherer. In running he has shown why he belongs to the absolute top elite, "said Scheiderbauer, who was happy with his performance anyway.
