World’s third-best team begins the Olympic season with a series of wins

The FELT ÖTZTAL X-BIONIC Worldcup Team started the season with a series of wins. At the team’s first official training camp, all the stars of the team competed against their international rivals in the Club La Santa 4-Stage race in Lanzarote and set a huge exclamation mark right from the beginning of the season.
U 23 World Champion Thomas Litscher left no doubt concerning his great form winning every single stage and taking the overall win. Close behind him was his teammate Charly Markt, finishing 2nd overall.
In the women’s race, Adelheid Morath raced strong, won the first stage and made it to the podium on day two, three and four. Adelheid Morath finished 3rd overall with many strong competitors like marathon World Champion Annika Langvad and MTB hero and 8 times World Champion Gunn Rita Dahle Flesjaa. 
This early success is a small step on the way into the season 2012. A brutal race schedule waits for the riders and every single race will be the most important one of their entire career. With the Olympic Games in 2012, every move is dedicated to the seasons highlight. Who wants to get a shot at the Olympics has to collect many points and go through qualification and nomination in every single race.
The pressure has never been that high before but the early races have proved that the entire FELT ÖZTAL X-BIONIC Worldcup Team started right where they stopped: With great wins, fighting spirit and no fear of big names and big events. They have cast an eye on the medals!
