Come see Garmin-Slipstream stars Vande Velde, Zabriskie at Interbike Outdoor Demo!

Thursday, September 10, 2009
Garmin-Slipstream stars David Zabriskie and Christian Vande Velde (pictured) will be signing posters and autographs at the Felt Bicycles tent at the Interbike Outdoor Demo trade event, September 22 at 2 p.m. in Boulder City, Nevada.
Felt retailers and other Outdoor Demo attendees are invited to meet two of America’s top road racing talents and also have the rare opportunity to see and test-ride some of the same Felt bikes the Garmin-Slipstream team will be racing in 2010. There will also be food, beer and other guests at the Felt tent throughout the two days of the Outdoor Demo.
Zabriskie and Vande Velde have each reached new heights while racing on Felt bikes. Last year Vande Velde emerged as a grand tour leader when he became just the second American to don the coveted pink jersey at the Giro d’Italia. He followed that with an incredible third-place at the Tour de France and capped off the season by winning the Tour of Missouri and the USA Cycling Professional Tour title.
Though Vande Velde’s 2009 season has been impacted by untimely injuries, he remained a vital part of the Garmin-Slipstream squad’s Tour de France campaign, helping his teammate Bradley Wiggins ride to an impressive fourth-place finish. Vande Velde also finished with a high ranking, eighth overall.
Zabriskie has continued to shine as one of the world’s top time trialists this year and on several occasions has stepped up to fill Vande Velde’s shoes. When Vande Velde had to abandon the Tour of Missouri with a broken bone in his hand, Zabriskie kept the jersey in the Garmin-Slipstream family, winning a crucial time trial and taking the overall victory. Zabriskie also won his fourth straight U.S. Time Trial Championship this year on his Felt DA, and, like Vande Velde the year before, took home the USA Cycling Professional Tour title.
Don’t miss this opportunity to meet America’s premier road and TT racers and see Felt's new line of 2010 bikes.
Tuesday, September 22 at 2 p.m. See you there!
